I am so glad I took it upon myself to see this movie. As the day of this premiere approached I looked forward to seeing Seth Carr & Dallas Young in action, as I have seen them on Nickelodeon and saw incredible potential in both of them and thus, I had high hopes for them. Sure enough, they did a fantastic job in this movie. I hope and pray that God will continue to open doors for them in the future as they continue to fine tune the gifts and talents God has given them. Along with Dallas and Seth's fantastic star power, this movie will teach you lessons of perseverance, faith, confidence, humility, transparency and the realization that every one needs a firm support system in your corner to cheer you on and encourage you and the fact that we are nothing without that support system and we should never forget about that support system. This is something I would definitely recommend for people from the end of the spectrum where they feel drained of hope to the other end of the spectrum when the temptation to get the big head attempts to lay a choke hold on them. Even if you're not a wrestling enthusiast, if you have a hankering for a movie with good moral themes to it, this can be your go-to movie for sure.

Great family/kid movie. Remember this is a fantasy movie, so you have to expect non-sense, its mainly for kids, but i am 59 and i enjoyed it. As you can see the public vote is 4.6/5, but critic from IMDb or tomatoes, ect...... are not the reflexion of the public. It was the same from the 1970's & 1980's, you see good critic, you don't go see the movie, but if the critic is bad, you are going to see a great movie, that is also blockbusters (great commercial success). So IMDb & Cie, it will be about time to filter your critics, if someone is always giving bad critic (on popular movie), kick them out. Same for those that always giving good critic on a movie no one likes.

So as a critic this movie was good it was funny light hearted and full with emotion. But as a wrestling fan this movie was hot garbage. First of all it is a WWE studio film and you would think they would make feel like an actual WWE match. But it wasn’t even close to that effect. First I think the concept of oh he has this magical mask and it gives him superpowers is pretty unrealistic. I understand that it was aimed at a younger audience but there still will be older WWE fans watching this, critiquing this movie. Second, I really hate how in the actual matches in this movie are. And this is mostly how wrestling is portrayed in movies, their always these big over the top dramatic, slug fest with big sweaty men just throwing each other in the air and slamming each other to the ground. When that isn’t how it is at all. But that is how it is portrayed in this trash can of a movie. And I hate that when they had real WWE superstars Otis and Keith Lee, and they were basically just, complete jokes. Like Otis he just basically farts and burps as his offense. But what can we do it’s a kids movie. Well that is all I have to say about this garbage movie. PEACE!

I like watching Batista in his recent movies. If his previous roles are any indication, this film will add some laughter & action that goes along with his character. It's not always some critic's opinion on whether you will like a movie or not. It always depends on your mood & your sense of what you expect & enjoy.
Mine is only my opinion. What's your's ???

We are avid movie watchers of all genres, 2-5 times weekly. We are also Dave B. fans from his Marvel role. This movie is excruciating slow, predictable and just poorly written. It’s a poor cross of a Disney channel- Lifetime movie of the week. This story has been done a dozen times over the years and is not a valuable use of your free time with so many, many other great movie choices. Just don’t do it, just don’t.

Cute kid and her child like dreams of a complete family.

My problem with the movie wasn't the language or the corny and predictable plot line because I can find comfort in that.

However I found a LOT of unlikely conveniences that went against the probability in this world that they've built in the movie just ruined the integrity of the story.

This was an amazing movie full of action adventure romance and comedy. By far one of the coolest movie ever. There may have been a few swear words and a few cringy spots but overall and really comedic movie and lives up to what it said it was. I rate 9.5/10. Totally worth seeing

Dolittle Review......

My Ratings: 4/5
* For RDJ comeback since Endgame
* Beautiful Storyline
* Awesome CGI and Visual Effects
* Best screenplay adaption

Though I am not that die hard fan of Iron man as compared to other Avengers, but I admire Robert Downey Jr. as an actor. He had put up a great effort and the portrayal was satisfactory.

This movie has a combination of comedy (like RDJ being funny, one line punches by the Animals) and tragedy (the story of Dolittle's wife's fate and Dolittle being isolated for years makes the tone slightly dark.) But overall, the story is highly light toned.
The chemistry between the humans and animals are properly depicted and gives us life lessons.
The voice actors for the animals are also really nice. WWE superstar John Cena, Oscar winners like Marion Cottilard (La vie en rose) and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), singer Selena Gomez, Kumail Nanjiani and the best part, RDJ and Tom Holland again reunited since May 2019 in Endgame.

I don't know why this this children oriented movie with very beautiful story and visual effects getting so much negative reviews. I didn't find anything bad about this movie. I just deducted one star due to my personal psychology that it is difficult to see Robert Downey Jr. in any other character other than Tony Stark. Otherwise, the movie is worth watching and will bring smiles and emotions while watching.

Dr. Diane Howard
Robert Downey Jr., who plays an amazingly broad range of characters in his movies, again plays a quirky lead character in DOLITTLE.

Downey, plays Dr. Dolittle who can talk with animals in this classic tale, rated PG. Robert Downey is joined with a cast of stars who play or voice an array of interesting and lovable characters.

In this version of the enduring story, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr.), famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England, has hermitted himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his menagerie of exotic (CGI) animals for company, after losing his adventurous wife Lily.

However, when the young Queen of England falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle sets sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure; regaining his wit and courage in new adventures with old adversaries and new creatures.

The doctor is joined on his quest by a young apprentice Stubbins and a raucous team of animal friends. The epic adventure also includes Antonio Banderas as pirate King Rassouli.

Writer Gaghan says, “…Dolittle is a superhero whose super power is listening…The reason that he can communicate with all these creatures is that he has this core of deep empathy…Every creature has something to say…”

During the current pandemic, DOLITTLE, is available on Netflix DVD and provides a delightful reprieve from our current world crisis while encouraging currently much needed empathy.

If the die hard reviewers could take the stick out of their backsides, sit back, and simply enjoy a film once in a while, maybe we'd actually pay attention to their reviews. Thankfully, I don't pay attention, and thoroughly enjoyed this foray into escapism at it's best.

Kids will love the wonderful array of animal characters, with stunning and realistic CGI's (gorilla fan). Robert Downey is his quirky self, and does a pretty good Welsh accent. Antonio Banderas pops up, and it took me a while to recognise him, but plays his small role with flair. The storyline is enjoyable and captivating, and this big kid got swept along with the lighthearted fun that you're supposed to feel when watching this kind of film.

My advice, escape with the kids, enjoy the silliness, laugh along, go for the ride, and make up your own mind.

“Like a Boss” is hilarious, very entertaining. A story about team work and friendship in the style of Bridesmaids and Girls Trip. Another chick flick for the collection. Super fun and great cast. Salma Hayek was my favorite character she used her accent and personality to give life to an over the top villain. This is definitely good comedy to kick off 2020 has everything you need in a movie to make it memorable and lovable. Without spoiling anything there was a character that comes in the end that totally worth exploring a sequel with, it be soooo awesome.

I think the scathing reviews of some are a bit extreme and unwarranted. While it’s not the usual standard of outrageously funny that we’d normally see from this cast it still drew plenty of laughs from the audience throughout the movie. I suspect the majority of people who are complaining are probably either stuck up and didn’t appreciate some of the crass humour or they were people who were disappointed that there wasn’t more of it. The story itself was predictable as most chick flicks are but hey, if you want to see it go and see it, don’t let bad reviews put you off. It could have been better but it certainly wasn’t bad either.

I really enjoyed it. It was just what it was intended to do. Make you laugh, escape for a couple of hours with no stress. Just fun. Love Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish and they were great together. We really enjoyed it. Great afternoon out for the girls!
