Based
on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up
until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes
the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his
family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to discover
their compassion and acceptance, Auggie's extraordinary journey will unite them
all and prove you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.
It's brilliant what arts can achieve in the wake of this hopelessness we feel about the world. Not only in terms of the already existing evils like violence, wars, politicians, capitalism; but in terms of daily human internal struggle, problem of acceptance, fear of unknown, pluralistic ignorance, bullying. Not everything is a government problem. Some problems are upto citizens and society to handle. This film showcases how we've created such a tough world for anyone who "we think" is so different, whether on appearance, or views, or physical/ mental disability. And that it can be better, the movie has only propagated love, kindness, friendship, helpfulness, patience. It can only be with steps like these we can make a better world to live in; one day, one film at a time.

Wonder is a beautiful family drama with a cast that's wonderful. It's an incredible story of a mid schoolboy with facial differences who attends regular school for the first time. The movie showcases acceptance, love, friendship, kindness twined with lots of fun moments. The best part of it was the message " if you were given a choice to being right or being kind, choose kind". Watch this touching drama that resonates assurance of kindness. Wonder was in and out wonderful. A must watch for the family drama lovers 8.5/10.

I love this movie, I would definitely say it's more of a childrens movie for sure btw. It explores the arcs of a range of characters which add to the movies quality. It is an inspiring, heart warming, emotional story which takes the modern problem of being seen as different (in this case a facial deformaty) and takes you on the engaging journey of Augie and shows how despite the fact your different to everyone else and it can be very difficult, good things always come your way in the end. Its a great movie because it tells the message of exceptence, to except everyone for who they are
