Hanzo
Hasashi loses his clan, family, and his life during an attack by a rival ninja
clan. He is given the chance to compete in an interdimensional tournament to
save his loved ones while other fighters try to save the Earth realm from
annihilation.
Its a great movie overall. Even if u haven't played the game, u kinda get the idea (most of it), however if u have played the game, u will understand better. I REALLY LIKE THE FIGHTS, the fights are gore but thats the point of it. Its not dark, its fun to watch, the fights stand out the most. X-RAY shots are wonderful. The plot is "not that bad" its worth watching. Seems like they made it to make Scorpion stand out, giving us a picture that he cannot be defeated, which is true to some extend but not entirely. I recommend this to all.(if you are okay with the blood and gore but its not gonna give u goosebumps like the real movies).
Not the smartest way to start a MK series but they've done a gr8 job.

Can't recommend it enough to anyone who's a fan of the Mortal Kombat series (especially the original 90s trilogy)! It's definitely the best take on the franchise yet outside of the games. The perennially underrated DC animation team hits it out of the park with an anime / Timm style with lots of expression and yet buckets of blood. A great action packed violent treat for all MK devotees with so many cool characters (mostly MK 1 and 2 characters and a kickass Quan Chi), so much blood and definitive deaths and a cool ending.
